Television, Literary and Film - Creative Idea Planner
About

The Creative Idea Planner is Regina Romain, Producer, Writer and Member of the National Association of Television Program Executives (NATPE). Regina has already garnered a legacy of history making accomplishments as a producer of Twentieth Television’s three-time Emmy® Award Winning court TV series Cristina’s Court, the first and only court show to win a Daytime Emmy, and creator of the first local cable program, The Thomas Webb Variety Hour Minus 30, to increase viewer subscriptions to Time Warner and transition from cable to DVD. Regina also developed the first religious programs on Houston’s PAX-TV and founded the nation’s first Comedy Entertainment Magazine; interviewing artists such as Jamie Foxx, Margaret Cho, Steve Harvey, and media mogul Russell Simmons. Presently, Regina is creator of the first script referral service for writers.

The Creative Idea Planner understands the passion to express ideas and is currently supporting new and aspiring scriptwriters through industry relationship connections as Script Planner. Hands-on experience within the television industry and writers seeking a path inside, inspired the script referral service for the promotion of writers marketing original material to the entertainment industry. The referral service is currently used by leading production companies, networks, agencies and studios. Script Planner also provides creative writing tools to writers for a strategic advantage in creating television and film scripts for sale.

In addition, as a published writer, works have appeared in online commentary, news and publications such as The Wall Street Journal, Family Circle, Cosmopolitan, and Associated Press. In the role of author, books soon to be released include Other People’s Sins and Cinderella Made Me Do It.
